Episode 01: The Love & Heal Podcast!

Love & Healing Podcast

Welcome to the first episode of the Love & Heal Podcast! Sarah Choueiry and Jessica Flanigan introduce themselves, talk about why they started the podcast, what topics they plan to cover as well as why Loving can play a central role in healing chronic disease.

  1. Gwendolyn

Hi, fellow twinster! Isn’t Twindom the best? And thanks for this podcast: today was the day I was ready to hear what you had to say in this podcast, and you didn’t even know it 🙂 During the first 8 years of what I call my “conversation” with illness, I feel that I accepted and trusted my journey with autoimmune issues, Epstein-Barr reactivations and several genetic polymorphisms, but two years ago I hit “the wall” of what felt like a marathon, with no end in sight.

Thanks for pushing the reset button and getting my mind/body/spirt back on track to being in sync again! Believe it or not, this past week the primary thoughts in my brain, the primary feelings in my heart and spirit, and the primary instincts in my body have been “just trust. just love” (regarding my conversation with illness), but I didn’t know how to say anything beyond that inside of my head and heart. Thanks for speaking a language I can understand and reminding me that it’s not a foreign language to me … just words and feelings I’d lost touch with.

    You’re wonderful.

I was so excited to tell my twin (which I did!) right after your very gracious comment. Thank you. The timing of your life is impeccable! Thank you so much for letting me know about how the message in the podcast may help as a catalyst and re-affirmation of the stirrings in your heart and healing. I love when that happens. Please please keep me in the loop and tell me how it all goes Gwendolyn. Your story and sharing of how love is healing your body is the very reason I love getting up in the morning. And I do believe and often see it spill over into the world for healing there too. The more you do it, the more it becomes available for all others on the planet to do it too. Kind of like paying it forward with our own self-love! Thank you so very much. It was so wonderful to meet you via technology but also as kindred twin spirits. xxx-jessica

  2. Gwendolyn

It was wonderful to meet you as well, Jessica! I will keep you posted how my journey goes. I’m pretty much at the starting line all over again or, rather, I feel like I’m a pole-vaulter and the pole is about to catapult me into something beautiful with the things I’m learning (thanks for being a catalyst in my journey!) and the inspirations I am starting to feel again. And, after a long spiritual winter, my heart is finally in the midst of a Big Thaw. Yay for things that melt

      Beautifully said! xx-jessica
